Welcome to Sweet Swag's Tutoring Time!

I am a first grade teacher in the district of Eastern Carver County Schools.  I love working with primary students in all subject areas, but have a passion for helping struggling readers!

Services:

• Tutoring in the following basic subjects:  Reading, Writing, Math, Spelling, and Grammar (grades K-5)
• Tutoring in the following specialized subjects:  Social Studies, Science (grades K-3)
• Homework help (grades K-5)

Rates:

• One-time Initial Assessment Fee of $25
• $35 per hour
• $25 per half hour

I will perform a one-time Initial Assessment with a fee of $25 to determine what help will be needed during tutoring services.

Hours:

• I am available Monday-Thursday with occasional weekend openings.
• For the summer I am available between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.(not available June 28-August 7 during these hours) and 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening openings.
• Fall hours will change, but I am unable to determine what they will be at this point.  

What Can You Provide:

• As a parent, I ask that you provide me with an initial description of what the student is struggling with.
• Any homework or additional activities the teacher has asked that you work on with your child to improve them in the given subject area.
• On-time arrivals to tutoring sessions.
• 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule a tutoring session.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:

• You must provide 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule with the exception of illness.  Please provide more notice if you're aware of the need to re-schedule.
• You may re-schedule one session every two months if space is available.  After this you will need to pay for the allotted time that you have missed.
• Payment is due at the time of the tutoring session.  I accept cash.  If payment is not made at the start of the tutoring session, the session will be canceled.  
• Payment may be made for all scheduled tutoring sessions in the month by the 1st of the month for a 5% discount.
• If you have 3 or more children in need of tutoring, you may take $5 off the hourly price/per child or $4 off the half hour price/per child.
